WATCH: News Anchor Jennifer Livingston Responds to Email Calling Her Fat [FBHW]

Free Beer, Hot Wings and Zane devoted a good portion of the show this morning talking about Jennifer Livingston, a local news anchor in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who has been getting a lot of attention recently because of her on-air response to a rude email that criticized her weight.

Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular. Obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make and one of the most dangerous habits to maintain. I leave you this note hoping you'll reconsider your responsibility as a local public personality to present and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The guys were really affected by Livingston's response, which sparked off a long discussion about what constitutes bullying, body image, and social responsibility.

"Was this a bullying issue?" asked Zane.

"The intention of this email was to make her feel bad - that's bullying," said Hot Wings.

They also took several calls with viewers who had different opinions. Whenever a caller would attack Livingston, however, Zane would come to her defense.

With obesity such a sensitive topic in America these days, the story has gained national attention very fast. In fact, Livingston has already appeared on the Today Show, talking with Savannah Guthrie about her experience.
