The Free Beer and Hot Wings Music Friday Roundup – October 5 [FBHW]
There was a strange mix of music picks today on The Free Beer and Hot Wings Morning Show. Even though The Beatles proved to be a theme among several of the picks, there were a few curves thrown in there, ranging all the way from authentic country music to gangsta rap.
No doubt eager to dispel notions of his proclivity for "Mid-Michigan 1970s Butt Rock," Zane went to the opposite end of the spectrum, selecting a little NWA for his Music Friday pick.
Free Beer played a totally different card with his pick, selecting a song from legendary country singer Merle Haggard. At least he didn't pick out something from David Allan Coe. That wouldn't have paired so well with the home boys from NWA.
As always, here's your recap of the picks, with YouTube links to the music videos, as well as Amazon and iTunes links if you want to download the music.
Free Beer - 'Workin' Man Blues' by Merle Haggard - Amazon
