Free Beer, Hot Wings and Zane talked some baseball this morning as they watched a video of an argument between Rockies manager Jim Tracy and an umpire.

In the clip, the announcer starts to read lips during the argument, while censoring it on the fly for the radio audience. Sound impressive? That's because the announcer in question was legendary Dodgers play-by-play man Vin Scully.

While commenting on the video, Free Beer, Hot Wings and Zane paid their due respects to Scully. "That old man is one cool customer," said Zane. Free Beer agreed, saying that he would "listen to Dodgers games just to listen to Vin Scully."

We have to agree. Scully's effortless delivery of both play-by-play and color commenting is truly remarkable. "I think he's got what's known as a 1940s delivery," said Hot Wings. A good reason for that is because Scully has been calling Dodgers games since 1950. Think about that for a second; Harry Truman was still in office!
