Vanderbilt Walk-On Marc Panu Awarded Scholarship + The Guys Love It [FBHW]

This positive clip is of Vanderbilt coach James Franklin talking to his players in a team meeting. While reviewing some practice footage, Franklin surprises senior walk-on fullback Marc Panu with a full scholarship for his hard work.

Zane joked that Vanderbilt probably waited until the last minute to give him the scholarship and that "he's got one credit left to get." But everyone loved the clip and seemed happy for Panu, who was clearly overwhelmed by the love his team showed him. "That's my favorite sports moment of the year so far," said Hot Wings.

We think this is a wonderful, feel-good moment that helps show that hard work does not go unnoticed.
