Dumb teens and guns. What a truly American combination. In what should come as no surprise to anyone, this story originates from the great state of Florida. The hero of this story is 18-year-old Michael Smeriglio, who managed to shoot himself in the groin with a gun that he had recently purchased.

What makes it even worse, though, is that he had to admit to doing it after first lying to the police. After taking a look at a photo of Smeriglio, it all started to make sense to the guys.
