Megadeath’s Dave Mustaine Still Doesn’t Like President Obama [FBHW]

The guys watched a clip of Megadeth lead singer Dave Mustaine, who is catching some flack for a screed he launched from the stage at a concert in Singapore. In what has to be the most convoluted "happy to be in _____" shout out ever, Mustaine rambled through a conspiracy theory about how Obama was somehow behind several recent shooting rampages, before saying that he might have to move to Singapore.

Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban so he's staging all of these murders. The 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now, the beautiful people at the Sikh temple ... I don't know where I'm going to live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America.

The guys did not approve of Mustaine's crackpot notions of President Obama's secret plan to wage war on the second amendment. Free Beer was particularly critical of Mustaine's rant and picked it apart on a factual basis. Hot Wings said that while he thought Mustaine was probably a smart guy, what he was saying was "pretty stupid" and he was making connections that weren't really there in the first place.

Later in the show, Free Beer read an angry email from a listener, who was defending Mustaine's stance and accusing Free Beer of not fact-checking before making his counterargument.

"We did fact check his opinion," said Free Beer, before insisting that there was no tangible evidence out there that would point to Obama cracking down more on gun control. He punctuated his rebuttal by saying, "Send me facts."
