Free Beer and the guys devoted a good chunk of the show this morning to talk about what everyone seems to be talking about today - the NFL and its problems with the replacement refs. In last night's Packers-Seahawks Monday Night Football game, the latest in a season full of bad calls came on the final play and resulted in an unwarranted victory.

The collective frustrations that all fans have been building up from the minor bad calls now have a focal point. And boy, are they making their voices heard. For most of today, the trending topics on Twitter have involved some aspect of this controversy.

"Ed Hochuli is dry humping in the living room watching this," said Free Beer, joking that the muscle-bound crew chief would be celebrating the latest disaster in the NFL's attempt to patch over the labor disputes.

"This has to be it, this has to be it," said Zane, who made it clear that he was also sick and tired of the poor job done by the replacement refs. At one point, Zane was even convinced that they would have to overturn the ruling of the game. The guys disagreed, correctly assuming that Roger Goodell and his executives would stick to their guns.

"These guys, they just cant keep up. Because of the speed of the game," said Hot Wings, offering an explanation as to what made the substitute officiating crews so ineffective.

"The play we're talking about - a Pop Warner ref could have seen what happened," argued Zane.
