Not surprisingly, there was a lot of Olympic talk on the show today. From cracking jokes about the opening ceremonies to going over a list of funny Olympian names (Hulk all the way), to making fun of overbearing gymnastics parents and bizarre fencing shouting, Free Beer and Hot Wings covered a wide range of topics.

One of the best segments was when Free Beer read through a list of four of the "worsts" in Olympic history. For all the pageantry of the Olympics, there's always plenty of funny and tragic moments that come along as well. Here's two of our favorites from that list:

Worst Winning Performance - Sydney, 2000
Depending on how you look at Eric "The Eel" Moussambani's performance, it's either the worst thing you've seen in a pool, or one of the best. We think it's kind of inspiring that Moussambani was out there competing, despite being from a country with only two swimming pools.

But there's no way around it, what actually happened in the water was hilarious. When the other two swimmers were disqualified for false starts, it left the pool wide open for Moussambani to get his dog-paddle on and made everything a bit sillier, since all the attention was focused on his frantic thrashing.

Worst Opening Ceremony - Seoul Korea, 1988
There was no smooth sailing at all in Seoul for the opening to the 1988 Olympic Games. For starters, the ceremonies were held in the middle of the day, with the oppressive sun making it miserable for everyone. After that, the IOC (International Olympic Committee) decreed that all future ceremonies would have to take place at night. As if that wasn't bad enough, they also managed to immolate the international sign of peace, several times over.

The guys really got a kick out of this one, making fun of the gross oversight that led to several cooked birds. If you want to fast forward to the good part, skip ahead to around the 4:20 mark.
