In this week's edition of Dumber Than Zane Trivia, the guys welcomed Edward Zeinert to the show.

Edward, representing the good people of Wausau, Wisconsin was playing for the listeners of Rock 94.7 ... The WOZZ. With the grand total at $4,800 in prize money, Edward was feeling the pressure right off the bat. The guys noticed that he sounded pretty nervous before the competition got underway.

After winning the roll of the dice, Edward elected to go second. So how did he do?

Question 1 - What Late Night host features his mother on the show as a correspondent? - Zane

Zane got a pretty easy one off the bat. He easily guessed the correct answer: "David Letterman."

Question 2 - What Chicago Bears player was the first to appear on the front of a Wheaties box? - Edward

Edward hesitated with this one, before throwing out his first guess of the competition: "Mike Ditka." Since Ditka was never actually a player, we're just going to chalk this one up to nervousness. With a chance to steal and take a commanding 2-0 lead early in the game, Zane narrowed his choices down to the big three of McMahon, The Fridge and Walter Payton. Zane went with "The Fridge" but missed his chance to steal as Free Beer informed everyone that the answer was Mr. Sweetness himself, Walter Payton.

Question 3 - What country did Bill Clinton travel to in 2009 to secure the release of two US Journalists? - Zane

Zane took an good enough guess at this question with "China" as his answer. After Free Beer informed Zane that he missed the question, Edward stole the answer with "North Korea" and brought it back to a tie game at 1-1.

Question 4 - What classic hip hop song does Rosie the Rapping Granny sing in the movie 'The Wedding Singer'? - Edward

Breathing heavily, Edward made it clear that he had no idea what the answer was to this question. Instead of taking a wild guess, all he could manage was "I don't know" for his answer. Honest... but that's not going to win you any trivia contests. You gotta at least guess! Zane admitted that he didn't know as well, but threw out a guess of "Baby Got Back." It was up to Hot Wings to provide the correct answer - "Rapper's Delight."

Question 5 - What famous actor lent his voice to the spoken part in the song 'Thriller'? - Zane

Zane nailed this question with a correct answer of "Vincent Price" to take a 2-1 lead.

Question 6 - What Billy Joel song name checks the newsworthly people and places of his lifetime? - Edward

Edward, clearly spiraling out of control at this point, could not manage to get this softball of a question. He seemed to know a thing or two about Billy Joel, since his guess of "Vienna" was a pretty obscure pick. But it was also wrong. Zane swooped in and easily guessed "We Didn't Start the Fire" to take a 3-1 lead.

Question 7 - What Italian entrepreneur made tractors before entering the sports car business? - Zane

Zane took a guess with "Ferrari" but it was not right. So that pretty much leaves one other choice, right? This should be an easy steal for Edward. But instead of answering "Lamborghini," Edward missed the opportunity by guessing "McLaren" for some reason. That's not even Italian!

Question 8 - What team did shortstop Ozzie Smith help win the 1982 World Series? - Edward

Edward answered "Cardinals" to make the score 3-2 in favor of Zane.

Question 9 - What bodliy function was Shakespeare referring to with the quote: "A man may break a word with you, sir, and words are but wind"? - Zane

Not surprisingly, Zane had little trouble answering "flatulence" to take a 4-2 lead.

Question 10 - What Entertainment Tonight host and pianist has also been a sportscaster for The Olympics? - Edward

It was already pretty much over for Edward at this point and he probably knew it. After some more mouth breathing, he tried a guess of "Bob Costas," but it was not meant to be. Zane ended the competition with a 5-2 victory by answering "John Tesh." Zane wins!

The streak continues! Edward still gets a pair of boots from the good people at Cat Footwear!
