Taylor Swift Named 2011 Teen Choice Awards Ultimate Choice Winner
She's already earned seven American Music Awards, six CMT Music Awards, four Grammys, and an MTV VMA -- but soon, Taylor Swift will have to make room on her crowded mantel for another honor.
Swift is this year's Ultimate Choice winner at the Teen Choice Awards, held Sunday, August 7. The award, presented for "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry," has previously gone to Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Reese Witherspoon, among others.
Swift is also nominated for Country Single ('Mean'), Choice Music: Love Song ('Mine'), Choice Music: Break-Up Song ('Back to December'), and Teen Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Female.
In advance of the ceremony, which will air on FOX at 8 p.m. EST on August 7, fans can tweet messages to Swift at @TeenChoiceGirl. Select tweets will be broadcast during the show.
