3 Students Shot at Pittsburgh High School
Just after the school day ended at Brashear High School in Pittsburgh, several gunmen dressed in black shot three students as they were leaving the building. All three victims are alive and in stable condition, receiving treatment at local hospitals.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
One of the students shot was grazed in a leg and foot. Another was hit in the neck and a shoulder. The third was grazed in the head and went back toward the school.
SWAT team officers surrounded a nearby house and took several people into custody, possibly related to the shooting. Details are sketchy at this point.
Brashear is Pittsburgh's largest high school, with more than 1,400 students. The shooting on Wednesday may be related to a fight that occurred there on October 18, which led to a weeklong lockdown of the school.
Police have confirmed that no shots were fired inside the school.
