When she died tragically as a result of a car accident last week, nine-year old Rachel Beckwith of Seattle, Washington was $80 short of her goal to raise $300 for a charity that brings clean water to Third World countries.

Before she passed, Beckwith was able to articulate to her family that her final wish would be for others to step up and contribute to the cause that meant so much to her.

Since this past weekend  over $130,000 has been donated to Charity Water in Beckwith's name.

Jeremy Johnson, the teaching pastor at the church which has been publicizing the fundraiser, said this Beckwith leaves behind quite a legacy. He said, "I've learned that I need to act now, that I need to be selfless, and out of my selflessness I can make a difference."
