Country music fans and hitmakers alike sometimes disagree what makes music or talent or image "Real Country" — and that might be an underlying theme in the new USA Network series premiering at 10 p.m. Eastern/9 p.m. Central Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Titled "Real Country," the fast-paced competition has three acts hand-selected by judges and country music heavyweights Shania Twain, Jake Owen and Travis Tritt face off in each hour-long episode. Then, the winners from each episode compete at the finale for $100,000 and the chance to perform at the iconic Grand Ole Opry.

As you can imagine, the 21 acts have a wide range of sounds, looks and background. Here's a peek at who each judge picked for an opportunity to be named "Real Country"'s next breakout star.
