Once a superstar in the NBA, Tracy McGrady is hanging it up after an injury-plagued second half to his career. His life in the NBA included memorable performances, seven All-Star appearances and two scoring titles, but he never did manage to win a championship.

Many of us remember McGrady as an All-Star in Orlando in the early 2000s, and he carried that elite play with him when he was traded to Houston in 2004. In one legendary performance, he scored 13 points in the final 33 seconds of a game against the Spurs to complete a mind-blowing comeback. After 2005, though, McGrady was never the same. Back issues and surgeries cut short what had been a shining career in the NBA.

He played for the Chinese Basketball Association in 2012-13 and finished his American professional career in San Antonio in 2013, finally making it to the NBA Finals. The 34-year-old said he may be done with the NBA, but could see opportunity overseas.
