It feels like it was just yesterday when Tom Hanks' son "Chet Haze" made his rap debut. And it wasn't too long ago when people were buzzing about Bob Dylan’s 15-year old grandson, Pablo Dylan's, foray into rap.

So, it almost feels like it's no big deal to hear about Richard Hilfiger, son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, and his hip hop aspirations.

Rich Hil, who is still on probation for marijuana possession, is serious enough about his career in rap to have a YouTube page dedicated to his lyrical wordplay. And while he's not really being taken seriously by the media yet, the 21-year old signed a record deal with Warner Brothers Records, home to artists like Gucci Mane, Damien Rice and Maybach Music Group.

Rich also isn't the first Hilfiger offspring to dabble in show business. Once upon a time, his sister, Ally, had a reality TV show on MTV called 'Rich Girls.'

If something happens three times, it's a trend. If this saying is true, we can look look forward to a lot more celebuspawns pursuing careers in hip hop.
