Unheralded NFL Rookie Robert Gill Runs an Insane 25 Miles Per Hour In Hopes of Making Team
When it comes to trying to make an NFL roster, you could say Robert Gill pulled a fast one.
A very fast one.
Gill is an unusually old 29-year-old undrafted rookie with the Arizona Cardinals who is trying to snag a spot on the team’s roster. Considering his age and the fact he wasn’t drafted, he decided to think outside the box in order to gain some attention with this YouTube video in which he runs a ridiculous 25 miles per hour on a treadmill.
Gill, a wide receiver from Texas State, jumps on from a standing start, at which point his legs move like they’re on fast forward.
Gill’s feat is nothing to sneeze at – Usain Bolt averaged “only” 23.35 miles per hour when he set the world record in the 100-meter sprint in 2009.
