Sometimes it's best to just agree to disagree about sports.

On Monday night in San Antonio, Texas, an Oklahoma Sooners fan and a Texas Longhorns fan exchanged a few heated words, and then things got physical. The OU fan pulled a knife and a scuffle ensued before he was stabbed with his own weapon.

Both men were hospitalized -- the Longhorns supporter with minor cuts and the Sooners fan with critical wounds. Adding insult to literal injury, the latter has been charged with aggravated assault. Helping the street cred of neither person was the fact that the incident occurred at an Applebee's restaurant.

Next time they want to act out a collegiate sports version of 'West Side Story,' maybe a stage and some fake weapons would be more appropriate.
