These days, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Billy Idol don't seem to have much in common, but back in the day that wasn't the case. A recently uncovered video shows a young Reznor covering one of Idol's biggest hits, 'Eyes Without a Face.'

The '80s-era video shows a band featuring Reznor, sporting a very '80s poodle-type hairstyle, on keyboards and vocals. The group -- likely Reznor's Cleveland-based pre-Nine Inch Nails band The Urge --  turns in a faithful, although rather synth-pop, cover of Idol's 'Eyes Without a Face.'
