Keegan Bradley, who staged a late-round comeback to force a three-hole playoff, won the PGA Championship on Sunday, edging out Jason Dufner. Bradley became just the third golfer ever to win a championship in his first appearance at a major.

The 25-year-old rookie recovered after a triple bogey on the 15th hole that left him five strokes back and all but lost. But after sinking birdies on two of his final three holes, Bradley rose from the brink of defeat and managed to square up with Dufner. His impressive finish will be spoken about for a long time to come.

With the win, Bradley immediately becomes the "new golf star America needs so badly." But he might already know what stardom feels like -- his aunt Pat Bradley is an LPGA legend who took home six major championships.
