Jennifer Aniston Admits ‘The Break Up’ Helped Her Cope with Split From Brad Pitt [VIDEO]

Given that Jennifer Aniston's highly-publicized split with Brad Pitt occurred around the same time as 'The Break-Up,' it might seem like the movie role hit a bit too close to home.

But, Aniston said on 'Inside the Actor's Studio' Monday night that it was just what she needed.

When asked what drew her to the role, Aniston rolled her eyes and replied, "I'm slightly familiar on the topic."

And, she said, the performance helped her manage the events in her personal life. "I sort of honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exorcise some of that," she said.
