Gisele Bundchen Sends Email Asking Loved Ones to ‘Pray’ for Tom Brady to Win the Super Bowl
Now that the heavenly entities have some spare time on their hands -- what with Tim Tebow being idle until next season and all -- supermodel Gisele Bundchen has sent out an email asking friends and family to pray for someone else, instead: her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Brady and his team will square off with the New York Giants in this weekend's Super Bowl, and in a message obtained by the New York Post, Bundchen asked for the support of loved ones:
My sweet friends and family, This sunday will be a really important day in my husband's life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl . . .
"So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this sunday.
"Thank you for your love and support. Love, G"
When the Post contacted Bundchen about the missive on Wednesday, she said by email, “I am surprised that you received this ... it was a private note only sent to close friends and family.”
So now she's probably just trying to figure out who sold her out. As for whether all the prayers will help, well, we'll find out Sunday.
