The greatest innovation in utensils since the spork has arrived.

A new fork that vibrates when you eat too fast is now for sale.

The Hapifork is already being shipped to Kickstarter backers and will go on sale at Brookstone and Brookstone.com on October 18.

The $99 Bluetooth-enabled device is set up to vibrate when you eat too quickly, according to pre-existing information. The goal is to create a healthier lifestyle.

The founder of the company that makes Hapifork, Fabrice Boutain, says the utensil change viewing habits, noting, "It will help millions of people eat more slowly, adopt good eating habits, lose weight and feel great!"

That, or people will simply take longer to eat more. Time will tell.
