If you can't take the heat, then you'd better stay out of 'Hell's Kitchen.'

On Monday night's premiere of the reality cooking show, Chicago line cook Jason Zepaltas fell ill and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

While prepping for service on opening night, Zepaltas seemed unsteady on his feet and began gasping for breath. After complaining of dizziness, he was tended to by a medic and given oxygen. His condition, however, didn't improve and he was eventually taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

During the incident, Zepaltas showed plenty of determination to continue. But, he was ordered to rest for several days, and, ultimately, won't be returning to the show at all.
