Which Cities Have the Best — and Worst — Commute Times?

If you're fed up with your long commute to work, you may want to consider a move to Great Falls, Montana.

While a new report from the Census Bureau shows the average US commute is about 25 minutes, those in Great Falls only have a 14-minute travel time, the shortest in the country.

Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Vice President Tom Alfrey said, "People are always looking for more time to spend with their families and to have free time so anything they can do to eliminate that commute time is a positive and knowing that we’re the best in the country is a plus.”

The city with the longest commute time shouldn't surprise anyone -- it's New York City, with an average travel time of almost 35 minutes.

According to the report, here are the top 10 cities with both the longest and shortest commutes:
