Charlie Sheen Reveals Steroid Use While Shooting ‘Major League’
Long before he dabbled in tiger's blood, Charlie Sheen was taking substances that would be embraced by a generation of baseball stars.
The former 'Two and a Half Men' star has admitted he took steroids while shooting 'Major League.'
Sheen, a well-known baseball fan, tells Sports Illustrated, "Let's just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids. I did it for like six or eight weeks."
Sheen, who gained immortality in the 1989 film for his portrayal of Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn, said the 'roids added about six miles per hour to his fastball. Of course, Sheen did add taking the steroids had a negative impact on his behavior. Hmm -- Charlie Sheen acting weird? Who can picture that?
