Bristol Palin Slams McCain Family In New Memoir
Seems the gloves are off between the progeny of former political allies John McCain and Sarah Palin.
While promoting her memoir, 'Dirty Sexy Politics,' popular blogger Meghan McCain talked about the Palin family in terms that were a bit less than glowing.
ABC News now reports that Bristol Palin, a graduate of the "Do as I say, not as I do" school of abstinence, is currently promoting her own new memoir and has a few choice words about Meghan McCain and her clan too.
Bristol writes she found Meghan dismissive and "[I] had a sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back," and says the McCains in general were very high maintenance: "I'd never seen people with so much Louis Vuitton luggage, so many cell phones, and so many constant helpers to do hair and makeup."
She did speak more kindly of Meghan's mom, Cindy, saying she was "like royalty," but was uncomfortable when Mrs. McCain offered to be the godmother of Bristol's then-unborn son Tripp: "I had just met her and I wondered why she wanted any type of guardianship over my child."
In response, Meghan used her Twitter account today to link to a warm video of herself and Bristol's kid sister, Piper, but we have a feeling this may only be Round One of the bout.
