Publisher Simon & Schuster has announced that actor, former California governor, and soon-to-be-divorced Arnold Schwarzenegger is writing a memoir.

Although the book, tentatively titled 'Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story,' won't be a tell-all, it'll cover the break-up of his marriage to TV journalist Maria Shriver as well as his career as a bodybuilder, actor, and politician.

The former executive editor of Fortune, Peter Petre, will assist Schwarzenegger with his autobiography. Petre also helped Alan Greenspan and Norman Schwarzkopf write their memoirs.

"Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world. Nobody has a life story even close to his," said Simon & Schuster publisher Jonathan Karp.

The book is scheduled to be released in October 2012.
