$11 Million Fountain in New London Used as Bathroom [VIDEO]

The city of New London recently spent roughly $11 Million on a fancy water fountain that depicts a whale's tail. Since its debut about a month ago, police have repeatedly been called to the scene due to people defecating, urinating and bathing in the tail.

Police officers say they know who's responsible and that the area simply needs more surveillance. The squalid behavior typically happens during nighttime hours when the streets aren't as busy.

Out of sanitary concerns, the expensive fountain's water supply has since been shut off.
