No major league team is hotter than the Detroit Tigers, who capped the weekend with a come-from-behind victory. Here's what's happening in Major League Baseball:

Miguel Cabrera Homers To Lead Detroit's Comeback

The Detroit Tigers (58-50) rallied for five runs in the 10th inning on Sunday, including Miguel Cabrera's two-run, walk-off homer, to beat Cleveland, 10-8, at Comerica Park. The comeback win gave the Tigers their fourth consecutive victory, a sweep of the Indians and tied them with the A's at the top of the American League Wild Card standings. Detroit remains 1.5 games back of the Chicago White Sox in the AL Central.

NL West Teams Continue To Tinker With Rosters

Though other divisions were active at the MLB trade deadline, the National League West added the most talent. The Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks all traded for significant players in the past week. The three teams are separated by just four games with two months left to play in the season.

The Giants acquired right fielder Hunter Pence from the Philadelphia Phillies for right fielder Nate Schierholtz and two minor league players. The Dodgers added Phillies' outfielder Shane Victorino for two young pitchers and claimed starters Joe Blanton and Cliff Lee off waivers from the Phillies. The two teams worked out a deal for Blanton, but Lee remains in Philadelphia. Arizona picked up third baseman Chris Johnson from the Astros for two minor league outfielders.

Play of the Week: Gregor Blanco, San Francisco Giants

San Francisco Giants' outfielder Gregor Blanco frequently appears on highlight reels because of his defense. In the video below, Blanco stretches out to rob Jordany Valdespin of the New York Mets during a game last week in San Francisco.

Upcoming Series To Watch: Los Angeles Angels at Oakland Athletics

American League West foes and Wild Card hopefuls Los Angeles and Oakland meet for a three-game series starting Monday at the O.co Coliseum. Just a half-game ahead of Los Angeles in the AL Wild Card race, the Athletics (58-50) are winning games with a stingy bullpen and clutch extra-inning hits. The Angels (58-51) may have baseball's best rotation, but rookie outfielder Mike Trout is hitting a league-leading .349 and looking like an MVP candidate.

Fantasy Player to Add: Chris Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks

Traded from the Houston Astros to Arizona last week, third-baseman Chris Johnson has gone 8-for-20 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in just six games. Hitting in a lineup with other sluggers like Paul Goldschmidt and Jason Kubel could be enough to elevate Johnson's offensive numbers for the remainder of 2012.

Fantasy Player To Drop: Hunter Pence, San Francisco Giants

After being traded to the Giants from the Philadelphia Phillies last week, outfielder Hunter Pence hit just .118 with a .334 OPS over his first four starts. While he's too good a player to continue those trends, Pence will not generate the same power numbers in San Francisco that he did in Philadelphia.
