Trace Adkins Shares His Lake with Big Brothers Big Sisters
Adkins invited members of the Middle Tennessee Big Brothers Big Sisters organization out to his farm last week, and they spent the day on his lake, enjoying activities like swimming, paddle boating, and, yes, fishing.
Unfortunately, a meet ‘n’ greet with Adkins was out of the question — he was out of town on tour — but he did make sure to leave behind a new fishing pole for each of his guests, as well as a day of special memories.
“The impact that can result from a quiet conversation between a Big Brother or Sister and their Little Brother or Sister while fishing is priceless,” said Lowell Perry, Jr., CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Middle Tennessee chapter. “His [Adkins’] generosity in making his lake available to our Bigs and Littles speaks volumes about his commitment to children.”
