Well, not everything Oprah touches turns to gold.

'The Nate Berkus Show,' which Oprah's company, Harpo, produces along with Sony, will end its run after this current second season ends in May.

The home design/makeover show never reached Oprah or Dr. Phil numbers, averaging around 1.3 million viewers. In a statement to Broadcasting & Cable, Harpo and Sony said, "After careful consideration, we have decided that The Nate Berkus Show will not return for a third season in the fall. We are grateful for the hard work and heart that Nate, [executive producer] Corin Nelson and their entire team have poured into the show."

Maybe a daily, syndicated home design show can't work, even with Oprah behind it. Or Maybe Oprah will find another show for Berkus on her OWN channel, which could be a better place for a daily show like this.
