Sting Celebrates 60th Birthday with Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and More at New York Concert [VIDEO]

Late last month, Sting joined Lady Gaga onstage in Las Vegas during her iHeartRadio Music Festival set.

On Saturday, Gaga returned the favor, dropping by New York’s Beacon Theatre for a show that marked Sting’s 60th birthday and his 25 years as a solo artist.

But Gaga wasn’t the only star who showed some love for Sting: Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and Black Eyed Peas main man were among the other big names who came to jam on Sting and Police songs.

Gaga performed ‘King of Pain,’ which was one of the two songs she and Sting played together in Las Vegas on Sept. 24. Joel offered up his versions of ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic’ and ‘Don’t Stand So Close to Me,’ while also went with something from the Police catalog, ‘Walking on the Moon.’ Wonder played harmonica on ‘Brand New Day,’ just like he did for the title track of Sting’s 1999 album. Springsteen’s contributions included tackling the Sting solo hit ‘Fields of Gold’ by himself and joining Sting and the house band for a take on the Police song ‘Can’t Stand Losing You.’

Addressing his age, Sting — who was born Gordon Sumner on Oct. 2, 1951 — said near the outset, “Sixty feels comfortable — I’ve always felt sort of old.”

The four-hour concert also raised $3.7 million for the poverty-fighting Robin Hood Foundation.
