Best Known For: Jeff Bagwell is best known as a power hitter for the Houston Astros in the 1990s. During his 14-year career in Houston, Bagwell was named to four All-Star games and won the 1994 National League MVP. Bagwell finished his career with 449 home runs and his jersey was retired by the Astros in 2007.

Frank Thomas

Profession: Former MLB Player
Best Known For: Frank Thomas, aka the Big Hurt, is best known as one of his generation’s great sluggers, playing 18 seasons. He was best known for his time with the Chicago White Sox, where he won two MVP awards and a batting title in 1996. Thomas was also the face of 1995 Super Nintendo video game called, Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball.

Antonio Freeman
Age: 40
Profession: Former NFL Wide Receiver
Best Known For: Freeman’s career with the Green Bay Packers was a productive one, as he led the team in receiving yards from 1996-1999. Freeman was part of the 1996 Packers team that won Super Bowl XXXI over the New England Patriots. The most memorable play of Freeman’s career occurred in a Monday Night Football game against the Minnesota Vikings in 2000 when he caught a pass while on his back and eventually ran it in for the game-winning score.

Danny Wuerffel
Age: 38
Profession: Former NFL Quarterback/Collegiate Football Star
Best Known For: Although Wuerffel played for four different NFL teams with minor success, he’s most remembered for leading the University of Florida Gators to the 1996 national championship and winning the Heisman Trophy in the same season. During his career in Gainesville as starting quarterback, he threw for over 10,000 yards and passed for 114 touchdown passes — still the best in SEC history.

Sam Snead
Profession: Former PGA Golfer
Best Known For: Sam Snead is arguably one of the best golfers that the PGA Tour has ever seen. He won seven major championships during his career, including three victories at the Masters. Snead’s nickname during his playing time was ‘Slammin’ Sammy’ for his ability to hit a golf ball hard. He was named to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1972. Snead passed away at the age of 89 in 2002.
