Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: A three-time All-Star and precursor to the modern-day relief pitcher, Sparky Lyle was called on to get tough outs in the late innings for several teams throughout his major league career from 1967 to 1982. Lyle won the American League Cy Young Award in 1977 as a member of the New York Yankees, who won the first of consecutive World Series titles that year. In 1979, Lyle co-wrote ‘The Bronx Zoo,’ with Peter Golenbock. The book was an insider’s look at the strife inside the clubhouse of the 1977 and 1978 Yankees.

Shawn Michaels
Age: 47
Profession: Retired Professional Wrestler
Best Known For: Known as ‘The Heartbreak Kid,’ Shawn Michaels has been among the most popular professional wrestlers while grappling in the World Wrestling Federation, Mid-South Wrestling and the American Wrestling Association since 1984. Earlier in his career, Michaels was part of ‘The Midnight Rockers’ tag team with Marty Jannetty. He moved on to solo competition in the early 1990s. Michaels and fellow wrestler Hunter Hearst Hemsley, were the core of wrestling sub-group D-Generation X (DX). Michaels has been WWE champion three times and has participated in the organization’s largest pay-per-view events such as WrestleMania, Summer Slam, Royal Rumble and the Survivor Series.

Tim Brown
Age: 46
Profession: Retired NFL player
Best Known For: A nine-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, Tim Brown played from 1988 to 2004 with the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He caught 1,094 passes for 14,934 yards and 105 touchdowns and was elected to the NFL’s 1990s All-Decade Team. While playing at Notre Dame in college, Brown won the 1987 Heisman Trophy as the nation’s best college football player.

Keyshawn Johnson
Age: 40
Profession: Retired NFL Player / Analyst
Best Known For: A three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson played from 1996 to 2006 with the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers. He was on the Buccaneers’ team that won Super Bowl XXXVII. While with the Jets in the 1990s, Johnson wrote an autobiography entitled “Just Give Me The Damn Ball,” which chronicled his rookie year in New York. Prior to turning pro, Johnson was a Consensus All-American in 1995, his last year at USC. He now serves as a television broadcaster for ESPN.

Steven Jackson
Age: 29
Profession: NFL Player
Best Known For: A three-time Pro Bowl running back, Steven Jackson is a centerpiece of the St. Louis Rams’ offense. Since being selected by the Rams’ in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft, Jackson has gained 9,093 rushing yards and scored 52 touchdowns. He won the NFC rushing title in 2009 and is the Rams’ all-time leading rusher.
