Dallas Green
Age: 78
Profession: Former MLB Manager
Best Known For: A World Series-winning manager with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1980, the irascible Dallas Green has spent his entire adult life in baseball. After a mediocre playing career from 1960 to 1966, Green eventually began a career in scouting and coaching. In addition to guiding the Phillies, Green has managed both the New York Yankees and New York Mets. He also served as general manager for the Chicago Cubs from 1982 to 1987.

John Riggins
Age: 63
Profession: Retired NFL Player
Best Known For: One of the most bruising NFL runners of all-time, John Riggins played for the New York Jets and Washington Redskins from 1971 to 1985. Nicknamed ‘The Diesel,’ Riggins rushed for 11,352 yards and 104 touchdowns during his career. Riggins was the most valuable player of Super Bowl XVII, won by the Redskins. He was elected to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1980s and inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992.

Mary Decker Slaney
Age: 54
Profession: Retired US Olympian
Best Known For: A record-setting distance runner for the United States in the 1970s and ’80s, Mary Decker Slaney won gold medals in the 1500-meters and 3000-meters at the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki, Finland. While running for the Olympic gold medal in the 3000-meters in Los Angeles in 1984, Decker Slaney fell to the infield and was unable to finish the race after colliding with Zola Budd of South Africa.

Roger Clemens
Age: 50
Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: An 11-time All-Star and seven-time Cy Young Award winner, Roger Clemens was one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball history. During a 23-season career with the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and Houston Astros, Clemens recorded 354 wins and struck out 4,672 batters. He was a member of the Yankees’ teams that won the World Series in 1999 and 2000. After his retirement from baseball, Clemens’ trainer Brian McNamee claimed to have injected the pitcher with anabolic steroids, which was in contrast to what Clemens had testified to in front of Congress. Clemens was indicted under federal perjury charges in 2010, but found not guilty in 2012.

B.J. Surhoff
Age: 48
Profession: Retired MLB Player
Best Known For: A one-time All-Star, B.J. Surhoff was among the most versatile players in baseball during his 18-year major league career with the Milwaukee Brewers, Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves. From 1987 to 2005, Surhoff collected 2,326 hits while playing every position on the diamond except pitcher.

Jeff Gordon
Age: 41
Profession: NASCAR Driver
Best Known For: A four-time NASCAR Cup series champion, Jeff Gordon is one of stock car racing’s all-time greats. The first NASCAR driver to reach $100 million in career winnings, Gordon is third on the all-time wins list with 85 career wins, including three Daytona 500 victories. Gordon still drives the No. 24 car that he began driving in 1993, a season in which he was named NASCAR’s Rookie of the Year.

Kurt Busch
Age: 34
Profession: NASCAR Driver
Best Known For: A winner of 24 NASCAR Cup series races and the 2004 Cup championship, Kurt Busch drives the No. 51 car on the circuit. Since 2011, Busch has been in several contentious altercations with other drivers, including Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman, Tony Stewart and several members of the racing media.
