Will Smith's production company Overbrook Entertainment is joining forces with Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit to create a new syndicated daytime talk show that the Queen herself will host.

Starting in 2013, this will be the popular actress and singer's second talk show -- the first, 'The Queen Latifah Show,' ran from 1999 to 2001.

"We have known and admired Latifah for over 20 years: dating back to our music days, to her first television role on 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,' and years [later] when she worked with Jada [Pinkett Smith] on the film 'Set it Off,'" said Overbrook's Miguel Melendez.

Latifah is the latest star to jump into the daytime talk show genre. Newscaster Katie Couric, comedian Steve Harvey and 'Survivor' host Jeff Probst all have new shows slated for production as well.
