Legendary music star Paul McCartney and American businesswoman Nancy Shevell swapped vows in a civil ceremony on Sunday. The marriage took place at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, where McCartney married his first wife, the late Linda McCartney, in 1969.

The erstwhile Beatle, 69, donned a navy suit with a pale blue tie for the occasion, while Shevell, 51, wore an elegant above-the-knee gown designed by McCartney's daughter Stella.

A tented reception was held at the groom's home in St. John's Wood, and was attended by stars such as McCartney's former bandmate Ringo Starr.

It's Shevell's second marriage and Paul's third, who both met shortly after the singer's messy divorce from Heather Mills in 2008.
