We've got three new releases hitting theaters this weekend, and though the choices seem slim we promise you'll have a great time. Science fiction, animation and inspirational drama are all on tap for the September 28 weekend.

In 'Looper' Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays an assassin who takes out marks sent back in time from the future, but things get complicated when he's sent the older version of himself and he accidentally lets him escape.

'Hotel Transylvania' is the latest family-friendly comedy from Adam Sandler -- co-starring Andy Samberg, the animated flick follows a horror hotel run by Dracula. The plot gets hairy when the hotel receives its very first human guest.

Maggie Gyllenhaal stars in 'Won't Back Down,' the story of a mother and a teacher who set out to confront the bureaucracy of their local school system and demand a better education for the disenfranchised youth.
