Some of the greatest sitcoms in TV history have the greatest theme songs.

If NBC wants a snappy tune for 'Mixed Blessings,' the network can look to singer/pianist John Legend, who is developing the show. According to Perez Hilton, the premise of Legend’s comedy series will involve a single hip-hop star who learns he has a teenage son. Things get interesting when the black entertainer looks to bond with the boy, who is living in the 'burbs with his white family.

It's not known whether Legend, who portrayed Stevie Wonder in a 2005 episode of the music-driven series 'American Dreams,' will appear on-screen in 'Mixed Blessings.' The show could air as soon as 2012.
