Warren Glover, a former NBA security official, says his superiors ignored several sets of allegations that women in the league office were being sexually harassed or discriminated against, reports The New York Times. Allegedly, Glover was fired after he spoke up about the claims, and is now suing the NBA for lost wages and damages.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass said that “based on what we’ve read in published media reports, Mr. Glover’s allegations are without merit, and we will vigorously defend against them.”

Glover was let go in July after working 10 years for the league. He says he regularly received high scores on performance evaluations, even earning a congratulatory letter from Commissioner David Stern this summer. However, he was laid off a month later “as a result of his poor performance.”
