Defensive stars Lance Briggs and Charles Tillman each returned an interception for a touchdown, and the Chicago Bears beat the Dallas Cowboys, 34-18, in Dallas on Monday night.

Tony Romo threw five interceptions for Dallas (2-2), which fell behind 24-7 after Briggs returned an errant Romo pass 74 yards for a score with 6:11 left in the third quarter. Chicago (3-1) increased the lead to 34-10 before a late Dallas touchdown accounted for the final score. Bears' defensive back Major Wright had two interceptions in the game.

Jay Cutler completed 18 of 24 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears, while Brandon Marshall had seven receptions for 138 yards and a score for Chicago. Tight end Jason Witten caught 13 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown for Dallas, while teammate Dez Bryant had eight catches for 105 yards. Romo threw for 307 yards and a touchdown before being pulled in favor of backup quarterback Kyle Orton on the Cowboys' last scoring drive.
