It has been less than two weeks since Lindsay Lohan was finally released from her probation and out of court for good, but new legal troubles are haunting her again.

This time, it is accusations of battery that have LiLo defending her innocence.

On Saturday, a woman filed a report with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department in California, claiming she had an altercation with Lohan at a nightclub on Thursday night. The report alleges that Lohan hit the woman in the back after she caught her talking with her male companion. The alleged victim claims that Lohan didn’t like that she was talking to the man, so she began pushing and shoving her and then punched her in the back.

Lohan claims she was not even out that evening and could not have possibly caused the incident. Law enforcement officials say they will investigate the claims to determine their validity before pressing any charges.

A rep for Lohan told TMZ, “Lindsay was absolutely not involved in any sort of altercation whatsoever. This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame.”
