After leaving Ohio on not-so-civil terms with the state's residents, LeBron James returned to Akron on Tuesday to cut the ribbon at a new clubhouse named in his honor.

The LeBron James Clubhouse resides inside an Akron Boys & Girls Club where LeBron played as a kid. He donated the $240,000 necessary for the renovation, and said that in spite of where he goes, Akron will “always be home no matter where I am.”The kids were obviously willing to forgive LeBron for leaving the city last summer to sign with the Miami Heat. But not everyone has come around on the NBA star.
