Can You Guess What Jennifer Aniston Said About Angelina Jolie to InStyle Magazine?
Ever since Jennifer Aniston’s marriage to Brad Pitt fell apart several years ago amid allegations he cheated on her with Angelina Jolie, the tabloids have regularly reported an on-going animosity between the two ladies.
Not so, Aniston insists in a new interview.
When the March issue of InStyle asked what the press gets most wrong about her, the ‘Friends’ star said, “The triangle with my ex-husband – and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing.” Aniston also added that the media cashes in on “a story that has nothing to do with reality.”
These days, Aniston is in a “joyful and peaceful” place with current beau Justin Theroux, whom she met when the two were cast in the upcoming film ‘Wanderlust.’
“Having experienced everything you don’t want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want,” Aniston notes. “As I get older I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won’t settle for.”
The blonde beauty, who turns 43 next month, is often celebrated for staying in great shape and looking years younger than she is — and sometimes even she’s surprised by her own age.
“You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are 20-something, or the new crop of actresses, and think, ‘Aren’t we kind of the same age?'” she laughs. “You lose perspective. Or being offered the part of a woman with a 17-year-old child. It’s like, “I’m not old enough to have a 17-year-old!” And then you realize, well, yeah, you are.”
