Cutler completed all four of his pass attempts for 47 yards on the go-ahead drive, including the scoring toss to Bennett. Chicago (5-3) later added a 22-yard field goal from Robbie Gould and held Philadelphia (3-5) a yard short of a first down at the Bears’ 29-yard line with 1:48 to play to seal the victory.

Bears’ running back Matt Forte made up for two costly fumbles by rushing for 133 yards. Cutler passed for 208 yards and two touchdowns, while Bennett had five receptions for 95 yards and the go-ahead score for Chicago.

Down 17-10 at the half, Philadelphia tied the game on a 15-play, 80-yard drive to start the third quarter, which was capped by a 4-yard touchdown run by Ronnie Brown. Forte fumbled on the Bears’ next possession. Mike Patterson recovered for the Eagles, who went up seven points after LeSean McCoy ran for a 33-yard touchdown two plays later. Chicago was forced to kick after the ensuing drive stalled, but Eagles’ returner DeSean Jackson fumbled away the punt, giving the Bears possession at the Philadelphia 9-yard line. Bears’ running back Marion Barber scored on a 2-yard run a few plays later to make it 17-10.
