In the April issue of Elle magazine, supermodel Heidi Klum finally breaks her silence about her abrupt January split from husband Seal.

The 38-year-old model and 'Project Runway' host and the Grammy-winning singer, 49, were always so publicly affectionate that the seemingly sudden unraveling of their seven-year marriage shocked celeb-watchers. But Klum said things are not always as they seem.

The supermodel said, "To the outside world, you don't really share all the things that happen. You kind of share just the most amazing sides. But I don't really want to get into any of that stuff. With my life, my family, my business -- I want to go forward."

And if you're hoping for dish, forget it. The German-born beauty isn't willing to serve it up.

People don't need to know who did what. ... I feel like already there are so many things being said about us -- about him, about me. I'm not going to comment. Otherwise it makes you angry. You can't always call and say, 'This is not true, but this part is true.'"

She may not want to talk about the split itself, but she was willing to open up about her own feelings. She described her emotions as a "tornado" but said her first priority is the couple's four children, noting, "I'm a lioness. I have four cubs. I'm a mom. I want to take care of my kids and protect them. I don't want to talk about them, or him, or me."
