Guitar Hero: Armless Guitarist Plays ‘Iris’ With Feet [FBHW]

This morning, Free Beer and Hot Wings watched a video clip of guitarist George Dennehy performing the Goo Goo Dolls' smash hit 'Iris.' For anyone who has ever tried impressing their girlfriend with their sick guitar skills, you know that this isn't exactly the easiest song to play. But that's not why the guys were loving this video. The dude with the sick guitar skills? He doesn't have arms.

On top of rockin' 'Iris' with only his feet, Dennehy also has a pretty powerful voice...oh, and it's not that he's just singing and playing the guitar for a video intended only for YouTube; he performed live on-stage in front of an adoring crowd at the Strawberry Faire in Ashland, Virginia this past June.

Free Beer mused that what Dennehy was doing "seemed impossible" while Hot Wings chimed in, saying simply, "This is impressive." We think it's safe to say there wasn't a person listening who disagreed with the guys.

The compliments weren't just for Dennehy's musical abilities, though. Both Free Beer and Hot Wings joked that Dennehy would be able to show the ladies a good time with his toes. When Producer Joe heard that, he insisted that "plenty of girls love foot!"
