With the Giants and Eagles set to square off in an early season NFC East showdown on Sunday, questions remain about whether Eagles' starting QB Michael Vick will be able to suit up as he recovers from a concussion suffered in last week's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

While having Vick sidelined would hurt Philly, one Giants' player is hoping that the Pro Bowler takes the field, after all.

“I want the best of the best, and he is the best,” safety Antrel Rolle told WFAN on Tuesday. “I hope Michael Vick plays, because at the end of the day, I don’t want any excuses when we go down to Philly and put it to them the way we will.”

Rolle went on to say that he isn't afraid to take on Eagles' top wideout DeSean Jackson, who has burned the Giants in the past. Whether Vick plays or not, New York might have its hands full with an Eagles team that some people are picking for the Super Bowl.
