Demi Moore Receiving Treatment for ‘Exhaustion,’ But Is She Battling Substance Abuse?
Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital Monday night in what some are deeming a substance abuse situation.
Los Angeles paramedics responded to a 911 call placed late Monday night, and after assessing the actress for about 30 minutes, she was transported to a local hospital.
In a statement, Moore's rep says she's seeking professional treatment for "exhaustion and [to] improve her overall health," but TMZ's sources say she's receiving care for "substance abuse" issues. No word on what those substances might be.
Since her split from husband Ashton Kutcher after a cheating scandal late last year, Moore, 49, has been seen in public looking increasingly gaunt, and has now dropped out of filming for the Linda Lovelace biopic, 'Lovelace.' She was set to play the role of Gloria Steinem.
