Alice Cooper has welcomed some familiar names to help out with his latest "nightmare."

Pop star Kesha duets with the shock-rock legend on 'What Baby Wants,' which will be included on Cooper's upcoming album, 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare.'

'She probably wrote the most wicked lyrics in the song -- we had to rein her in," says Cooper. 'I like people to know that just because artists are put in a pigeon hole, that doesn't mean that's what they are. Give people a little room.'

Also lending a big hand to the project is producer Bob Ezrin, who handled the same duties on 1975's 'Welcome to My Nightmare.'

'This is Alice's nightmare 35 years later,' Cooper says of the sequel. 'Bob and I created this character, and we know how to write for him. I play the part, but we're not writing for me, we're writing for Alice.'

''Welcome 2 My Nightmare' will be released Sept. 13 on the Hip-O label.
